Truly–can any vehicle embody lavish opulence than the Escalade?
You’d sure be hard pressed to find one. And it’s got a few surprises besides.
First, yes it is HUGE. But here comes the surprise. It actually handles like a much smaller SUV. In fact, it feels somewhat livelier and lighter than the SRX that we’ve also test driven recently, though for truly contemporary bling and pop, the SRX has a big edge.

Cadillac’s long awaited XTS, a full-sized sedan laiden with new technlogy, made its appearance at the Los Angeles International Auto show.
It will replace both the DTS and STS models in the Cadilac showroom, and it should arrive in showrooms sometime in spring of next year.
A Cadillac news release called it “the most technologically advanced production car in the brand’s history.”
