Audi A1

Just about any car enthusiast will tell you that some of the coolest cars on the planet–especially smaller ones–are sadly not available in the U.S.

The latest example of that is Audi’s all-new A1, which made its debut recently at the Press Days Event at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.

The bottom line: The A5 is a slick coupe with all the Audi attributes; power, handling, technology and Quattro all-wheel drive. Its only drawback is the lack of rear seat legroom, a problem it shares with most coupes.

Having an Audi appear in your driveway is always a thrill. Like BMWs and Mercedes, Audi style is classically German, with its own Audi spin. The unique aspect of the A5 is one it shares with the A4 – “smiling” daytime running lights. These smallish LED lights are arrayed in an s-shaped curve that makes the A5 loom as if it’s smiling going down the road.
